    Marvin Magnusson of

    passed away on November

    5, 1989, at the

    Lake of the Woods District

    Hospital.

    He was born on July 27

    1930 in Winnipeg.

    Marvin was predeceased

    by his parents

    Parmes and Roonie

    Magnusson. He is survived

    by his wife Winnie;

    seven children, Marcia of

    Keewatin, Michael and

    his wife Karen of Winnipeg,

    John and his wife

    Iris of Winnipeg, Gerry

    and his wife Shawna of

    Winnipeg, Bob of Keewatin,

    Ken of Keewatin and

    Jeff. Also surviving are

    four grandchildren, Jennifer,

    Sherry-Ann, Tracey

    and Jason; two

    brothers, Roy and his

    wife Jean of Regina and

    Roland and his wife Shirley

    of Regina; six nieces

    and nephews. Marvin

    will also be sadly missed

    by his furry friends,

    Pawkatoo, CJ and Cat.

    Marvin received his

    plumbing certificate in

    1947 in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

    He came to Kenora

    in 1973 and was the Mechanical

    Superintendent

    on the construction pf the

    Kenora Shoppers Mall

    Upon completion of the

    mall, he started Magnusson

    Plumbing and Heating

    in 1975 and owned and

    operated it until retiring

    inWSl.

    Funeral service was

    held on Wednesday, November

    8 at 2:00 p.m.

    from tbe Chapel oi

    Brown Funeral Home

    with Mr. Bob Wyber officiating.

    Cremation followed.
