Hans Tausen was a Lutheran Reformer who studied under Martin Luther. He studied at the Leyden University in the Netherlands and also in Germany and Denmark. He was a Lutheran Bishop in Denmark.
Hans Tausen did for Denmark what Martin Luther did for Germany. He fought for, was persecuted for, and sacrificed his life so that everybody could read the Bible in Danish.
