    Mrs. Gottfred was born

    December 31, 1897 in Sayres

    ville, N.J., U.S.A. She was a

    honourary life member of

    the I.O.D.E. Jon Sigurdsson

    Chapter, and a member of

    First Lutheran Church.

    She was predeceased by

    her husband Gustav in 1966,

    and three sisters. She is survived

    by two sons: Raymond

    and daughter-in-law Jeanne

    of Calgary, and Lorne and

    daughter-in-law Therese of

    Winnipeg, and four grandchildren:

    Jeffrey, Dianne,

    Neil and Michael.

    Funeral services were held

    at 11.00 a.m. Saturday, January

    20, 1979 at First Luther

    an Church, Victor and Sargent,

    with Pastor John H. Arvidson

    officiating. Interment

    in Brookside Cemetary.
